Application No., Date, Speed: 16364913 on 03/26/2019 (1057 days app to issue)

Abstract: The efficiency of commercial vehicle operations can be facilitated by using a blockchain. The blockchain can be used to track commercial operators and provide a logistical network for swapping operators. An operator identity for an initial operator of a vehicle and a route limitation indicating operator restrictions with respect to a route can be recorded in a blockchain database. Using a vehicle operation history retrieved from the blockchain database for the initial operator, a time frame for operation of the vehicle by the initial operator can be determined based on the route limitation and the vehicle operation history. An operator swap event at a swap location can be coordinated so that control of the vehicle can be transferred from the initial operator to a subsequent operator based on the time frame. The operator swap event and a subsequent operator identity can be recorded in the blockchain database.

Application No., Date, Speed: 16420457 on 05/23/2019 (999 days app to issue)

Abstract: Software instructions are executed on a processor within a computer system to configure a steaming engine with stream parameters to define a multidimensional array. The stream parameters define a size for each dimension of the multidimensional array and a specified width for two selected dimensions of the array. Data is fetched from a memory coupled to the streaming engine responsive to the stream parameters. A stream of vectors is formed for the multidimensional array responsive to the stream parameters from the data fetched from memory. When either selected dimension in the stream of vectors exceeds a respective specified width, the streaming engine inserts null elements into each portion of a respective vector for the selected dimension that exceeds the specified width in the stream of vectors. Stream vectors that are completely null are formed by the streaming engine without accessing the system memory for respective data.

Learning-assisted multi-modality dielectric imaging
Patent No. 11250601

Inventor(s): Guanbo Chen (Allen, TX)
Assignee(s): University of Southern California (Los Angeles, CA)
Law Firm: Brooks Kushman P.C. (2 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 16839853 on 04/03/2020 (683 days app to issue)

Abstract: A Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) assisted dielectric imaging method is provided. The method used CNN to incorporate the abundant image information from Magnetic Resonance (MR) images into the inverse scattering model-based microwave imaging process and generate high-fidelity dielectric images. A CNN is designed and trained to learn the complex mapping function from MR T1 images to dielectric images. Once trained, the new patients” MR T1 images are fed into the CNN to generate predicted dielectric images, which are used as the starting image for the microwave inverse scattering imaging. The CNN-predicted dielectric image significantly reduces the non-linearity and ill-posedness of the inverse scattering problem. The application of the proposed method to recover human brain dielectric images at 4 mm and 2 mm resolution with single-frequency and multi-frequency microwave measurements is provided.

Application No., Date, Speed: 17187292 on 02/26/2021 (354 days app to issue)

Abstract: Nyquist folding receivers (NYFRs) are disclosed that use three or more non-modulated sampling clock signals with different frequencies to produce multiple projections in a sampled output. Using these three or more different sampling clock signals, multiple Nyquist zones are aliased together while still allowing signals from different Nyquist zones to be separated and identified in later processing based upon the sampling provided by the different sampling clock signals. NYFR sampling receivers are also disclosed that simultaneously produce multiple separate and different parallel channels from an input signal, with each different channel having a different sampling clock sampling rate from the other channels so as to generate a respective folding pattern that is different from the folding pattern generated by the respective RF sampling rate of each of the other simultaneous and parallel channels. A particular signal may be separated and identified by matching it to the respective different folding patterns in each of the simultaneous multiple different parallel channels.

Remote authentication for accessing on-premises network devices
Patent No. 11251951

Inventor(s): Paul J. Miller (Rockwall, TX)
Assignee(s): Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLC (Redmond, WA)
Law Firm: Newport IP, LLC (1 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 16775244 on 01/28/2020 (749 days app to issue)

Abstract: An authentication server may not support all types of user credentials. For example, an on-premise authentication server may support credentials based on user secrets (i.e. username and password) and certificate-based credentials, but not hardware-key based credentials. A client device may use an un-supported type of credential to access resources managed by the on-premise authentication server by authenticating with a web-based authentication server. The web-based authentication server may support any type of credential, and the supported types of credentials may change over time. The web-based authentication server returns an authenticated user token indicating the user has been authenticated, but without authorizing access to any resources. The client device uses the on-premise authentication server to exchange the authenticated user token for an authorized user token. The client device then uses the authorized user token to access resources on the on-premise network.
