Dallas Real Estate Brokerage Plans to Add 1,000 Agents—and It’s Paying to Get Them Licensed

Rogers Healy and Associates Real Estate has grown rapidly over the past year, and recently announced the launch of rural realty arm RHA Land and Lakes. Today the firm announced it aims to add 1,000 new realtors to its ranks—and it's planning to pay for them to get licensed through its License Launch program.

“Not only do we get the opportunity to invest in their success, but we get to watch them grow and thrive as a real estate agent after,” the company's talent coordinator says.

North Texas’ real estate market remains strong. Now one of the region’s largest independent brokerages is looking to grow even larger to continue to capture more of the action.

Dallas-based Rogers Healy and Associates Real Estate has been growing rapidly over the past year. Today the real estate firm announced plans to add 1,000 new realtors to its ranks, and it’s planning to pay for them to get licensed.

“It is so important for anyone interested in a real estate career to know that there’s a support system behind them to keep them excited and motivated,” said Rogers Healy, owner and CEO of The Rogers Healy Companies, in a statement.

Creating new agents

Rogers Healy created its License Launch program at the beginning of last year, as a way to help people break into the industry or transition careers. Through the program, the brokerage covers the cost of real estate school tuition, in addition to providing resources to help with a candidate’s education, with the goal of the candidate beginning their real estate career with Rogers Healy.

The new announcement is a large expansion of the program. According to the company’s announcement of the renewal of the program in December, 43 new agents had been brought into the firm since the program’s launch. At the time, the company said it aimed to award at least 20 licenses each month during 2022 through the program. Currently, Rogers Healy says it has nearly 430 real estate agents.

“Not only do we get the opportunity to invest in their success, but we get to watch them grow and thrive as a real estate agent after,” said Natalie Magness, talent coordinator at Rodgers Healy, in a statement.

Rural ‘Land and Lakes’ expansion

Rogers Healy and Associates was founded in 2006 and is part of a number of businesses under the Rogers Healy Companies, including others that focus on property management, relocation services, and commercial real estate.

The company has been growing rapidly throughout the pandemic. Between 2020 and last year, it said it increased its agent size by more than 50%. And in 2021, the firm averaged more than $100 million in sales per month, according to D Magazine.

Last month the company entered the rural real estate space with the launch of RHA Land and Lake, which it says is projected to have more than $50 million under contract by spring. Healy told the Dallas Business Journal that it hopes to have 100 dedicated agents in the division by the summer.

“I know we will see a huge boom in interest (in RHA Land and Lake) soon,” Healy said last month.
