Fleet Software Company Intangles Opens U.S. HQ in Irving

The India-based fleet maintenance tech company plans to grow its North Texas team from 15 to 100 employees by the end of 2027. Intangles has raised $40 million in venture funding to scale its digital twin technology and AI-powered system.

Intangles, a Pune, India-based company whose digital twin and AI software helps trucking fleet owners manage maintenance, just established its U.S. headquarters in Irving.

The business employs 15 people in North Texas today and plans to grow the team to 100 people by the end of 2027.

Founded in 2016, Intangles has raised two rounds from institutional investors. Baring Private Equity Partners led its $10 million Series A round in 2023. Then, in October 2025, Avataar Venture Partners led a $30 million Series B round with follow-on investments from Baring Private Equity Partners and Cactus Partners.

“Dallas-Fort Worth sits at the crossroads of major transportation corridors running across Texas and into Mexico, and the region’s deep ties to transportation, logistics, energy and refining line up directly with the fleet segments we serve,” CEO Anup Patil told Dallas Innovates. “Irving specifically puts us close to our customers as we grow across North America.”

Using digital twins, AI to keep trucks running

The core of Intangles’ technology takes continuous readings from more than 450 signals in a vehicle’s systems, including the engine, brakes, battery, alternator and air intake system. It then creates a digital twin of the vehicle and applies a physics-based AI layer to the top of the model.

The system can flag issues before they reach a point when a warning light or other vehicle alert would go off. The company said the technology has up to a 96% accuracy rate for predicting major component failures, reduces breakdowns by up to 75% and improves fuel efficiency by 2% to 10%.

So far, the company said, 41,000 fleet operators across 18 countries use its system. Patil said Intangles has more than 70 customers in North America.

Hiring for the new Irving office will track continued growth across the region, Patil said. He said he expects many of the new hires to work in customer-facing and operational roles, particularly customer success and installation.

Intangles typically starts new clients with a three-month pilot engagement. Patil said this enables fleet operators to gauge how much the company’s system will save them on maintenance and fuel costs.

“We see room to grow that base significantly,” Patil said, “but our focus stays on the quality of each deployment and the impact we can make for customers as they scale.”
