Health Supernova 2022: Scenes from a Dallas Startup Crawl

Capital Factory is celebrating its plans to launch the Center for Health Innovation at Pegasus Park in Dallas.

Partnering with companies like McKesson and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas’ C1 Innovation Lab, it expects to open the doors to the new center before the end of 2023.

On Monday, Capital Factory kicked off its first Health Supernova with a Dallas Startup Crawl and special Pegasus Park launch event. The event aimed to catalyze the health tech community in Texas and beyond, as Capital Factory celebrates the opening of its newest space at the Dallas campus. On Tuesday, health tech thought leaders and experts were on the docket to speak at the Supernova, which was presented by UT Dallas and UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Capital Factory’s location at Pegasus Park will put companies working out of the space in close proximity with existing tenants like coworking laboratory BioLabs, genetic medicine company ReCode Therapeutics, gene therapy firm Taysha Gene Therapies, and accelerator Health Wildcatters.

Here’s a first look at the startup crawl.
